WoW is down and out for the count. I’ve never been so frustrated as I wanted to do some working on my druid Raislyn. I’ve rekindled my love for my first character and I’m slowly building up gear sets for Tank, Cat, Boomkin and Resto.

My main spec is a classic bearcat build, which allows me to do a little tank work whilst take part in most heroics and 10 man Naxx runs as a Cat. Resto has been reserved for PVP battleground healing but having healed a guild achievement run for TBC content I have a burning desire to investigate Resto healing further, perhas going with this build .

I’ve also taken to reading some Druid blogs, in particular Big Bear Butt and Rolling Hots with Laser Chicken thrown in for good measure. I still get the giggles thinking of Bear healing.

I’ve seen clips of different festivals and religious holidays from around the world, festival of light, Diwali etc and there’s something very special about them. We do something similar for our Christmas tree lights in Merthyr Tydfil which can be dedicated to a loved one or family. It’s very touching and a lovely to see.

Find some really good stuff on Youtube lately. Not quite as good a singer as Agnes but a unique tone to her voice. I likey.

Another competitor in the Swedish X-factor, this time in 2007

Another gem I found on Youtube. It’s catchy and singing much, much better than what I’ve come across in this dance music. Also linking the Nils van Zandt Remix – best I’ve found so far.

I really like the new single from JLS (embedded below from the official JLS Youtube channel). There have been a number of comments from fans about the dance routine and that they are not wearing their iconic colours. Maybe not, but pay attention, hasn’t anyone noticed the background lighting changing as each takes a solo spot? apparently not. Nevertheless it’s a grower, it’s catchy and I hope that it really does well.

And … it keeps rolling on. Pattinson has been voted the sexiest man on the planet in Heat Magazine.

The photograph is from the GQ photoshoot and the one that I really like. Normally he looks incredibly scruffy and in need of a good haircut! It might float some people’s boat but it doesn’t mine.

Twilight DVD

It was one of those films that I was mildly interested in but something always seemed to prevent me from seeing it at the Cinema, I had no idea it was based on the first of a series of books, all I was aware of was that it was a love story of sorts and it involved vampires and it was the vampire bit that tweaked my interest.

I settled in and decided from the outset that I was going to find that the film would be mediocre at best. I didn’t recognise Robert Pattinson or had any idea who Kristen Stewart was and it was barely holding my interest but by the end of the film I was hooked. I ended watching it multiple times and buying it on DVD last weekend.

The strange thing about it is that I have a hard time explaining to my friends and work colleagues why I like the film so much, and having watched it several times and read Twilight and New Moon I still can’t. It’s literally seconds of the film here and there that has me engrossed and it’s the second of two films to do so, the first being The Legend of 1900 with Tim Roth
